We made these crew socks to handle Tasmania’s wild weather


Knitted in Tasmania using traditional techniques, they are made from a resilient blend of 80% fine local Merino wool and 20% nylon. The fine Merino wool feels very soft against the skin, so these socks will not itch or cause friction when worn with boots. The added nylon ensures they are durable enough for daily wear on the coast or the trail, while the wool lets your feet breathe naturally.

Our heavy-knit crew socks are available in a range of distinct, textured marle colours. Because these are authentically made here on local machines, you may notice slight variations in the size and tension between the different colours. This is a normal part of the traditional knitting process and a direct reflection of local manufacturing.

Once you put them on, it is hard to go back to ordinary socks. They quickly become the pair you reach for every single morning.

Ideal for pairing with ankle boots, these socks ensure a comfortable fit with no itch or irritation.

  • Use iron on wool/delicate setting (if at all)
  • We recommend hanging your garments to air between wears. Merino wool is naturally antibacterial and odour-resistant, it doesn’t require washing after each wear.
